Hi! I’m a beginner artist who has been learning art self-taught for about a year. I’d really appreciate some feedback on this piece, especially regarding the color mood and value grouping. I know there are still many other areas I need to improve, such as composition, but I’d like to focus on these two aspects for now. I’m particularly wondering: 1. Does the overall color palette create a clear mood? 2. Is the value grouping working well enough to separate the main subject from the background? 3.
