heya, i really like the idea and the dragon design first of all, the white background might be one of the biggest things hurting this drawing. second of all, you should simplify the light shapes into big simple ones, if you look at my paintovers you can see that there is practically only two, if you have a lot of small ones it hurts the focal point. i made the body blend more into the shadows to make the light look brighter. those are the biggest things to make it look more moody. in the big paintover i just gave the painting more color, cool for the shadow warm for the light. hope this helps :3 | Artwod Feedback
