Edit: fixed typos. Hi. I think the composition is fine - you can sort of guess the idea behind the drawing, the focus is also set right. You are right - the values need work. General rule of the thumb: what is important should be highlighted and have the most details (ofc there are exceptions). I decided to add some light (e.g. from the sun) to emphasize the darkness in the confinement. I chose the light from the side instead of the center to give it a feel as if we are watching a scene happening in a world and not a dramatic manga panel.
