hey, this is literally my first time drawing a dragon like creature and i fluked the anatomy from a single pinterest post, but maybe my furry art skill carried over, who knows. first of all, practicing perspective is gonna help you the most from what im seeing, your pose looks a little flat which takes away from the design. now, you should always be thinking about the creature like its in 3d space, doing construction from basic forms is especially important on large complex creatures like this. now this is more of a gesture thing but you have to exaggarate the limbs so you give it weight and also so it doesnt look like its gonna trip over any second. as for the wings, i gave them a bit more clarity in the overlap, and made a shapes a little more interesting. (you shouldnt really focus on shape design until you have a decent grip on the more important fundamentals , dont be like me and watch hours of tutorials on a topic you wont even know how to use). also im seeing youre using a very textured painterly brush, and thats fine, but i heaaavily recommend getting decent at painting with only the base few brushes, i personally use the basic opacity brush, airbrush, and a simple lineart pen. hope this helps :3 | Artwod Feedback
