Hi there! You're right, it can get very heavy very quickly this way. With eyelashes and hair in general, it's best to think in shapes rather than lines in anime. So cluster together a thicker upper lash line, and then draw a few lashes (as long as you'd want, though you don't need much to indicate long lashes) out from it like this. With the hair as well, draw in some bigger and smaller locks (shapes) of hair instead of only strands (lines). I hope this helps!! c: | Artwod Feedback
