Hey there! Good job here! To take this illustration to the next level, focus on improving the lighting. :) I'm assuming the light is coming from the upper left, so notice that I shaded all the planes that aren't directly facing the light. Simply doing that gives the character much stronger volume. Also, think about what you want the focal point to be, and light the scene accordingly. For example, the beast in the foreground isn't the main point of interest, so you can keep it darker and add only a few areas of light. The same applies to the ground and other parts of the scene that aren't as important as the character. This will naturally guide the viewer's eye toward the focal point. One thing that confused me was the spear passing underneath the character's leg. Since the spearhead is positioned away from the character's body, that placement didn't quite make sense. I moved it so that it's roughly at the same height as the character's head, which feels more natural. Hope this helps! :) | Artwod Feedback
