There is a way of learning called "Project based appreach" Where you create a brief or set of briefs that are part of a project and do art according to such brief, below you can find one of mine, that you can use as template. Important things for creating a brief: It is a part of bigger story. Don't use art from other artist, dig deeper, As yourself questions: what, why, where, who. As a starter, use conceptual themes Abstract and emotional. Definitions are too broad to imagine specific imagery without making up a story. Like love, pollution, government, poverty, technology. If you don't feel experience enough to write your own story, use a quatation, description from a book, fill the reference with your interpretation of the text.
