Firstly I really like what u did , secondly workflow can be different for everyone but generally u can start with opaque brush and then smudge and add lighter and darker Color , u can see Sam does art workflow on YouTube if u like , and u can do it with translusant one and paint over the art , I really suggest u look other people workflows if u want painterly style it’s completely different so look artist that u like and see their workflow , plus I did a fix its not perfect my anatomy is off (I m not amazing in stylized art) and the cokes are except the hair are the same as yours I just unified them (toon one colt of yours then added other, I painted over ur art not did new one

Here is some digital painting practice I did. It is a portrait from imagination. I'm finally trying to get the digital painting reps in. I am still learning about the digital workflow; in particular, I found blocking in large areas of value a bit tricky. Can I start with a completely opaque brush and still lighten or darken the value on top of that with a translucent brush? Any other tips that you have are appreciated, thank you.

Hi, its my second art in technique from grayscale to color. I don’t know, i did grayscale and I really like the values, details etc, but when i colored it - it seems like colors have ruined my values( Also that thing with front hand - i mean to do perspective deformation but it looks weird
