Hi! Pretty colors and a cute drawing. Your friend is very lucky. For coloring you do not have to stick to strictly just 2 colors, even as complementary. You can move the hue slider a bit more for example to add more variety to the shadows or highlights(there is a good article on coloring in the Artwod blog this week). The mummy cat? is still yellow but for example green/blue color makes warm colors pop more. I also feel like values for everything are a bit the same, background even overpowering the main subject.
